Committment

COMMITMENT~ Thanks Diane for such a beautiful painting!

I love all the color and how it makes me feel.  When I look at the painting I see the commitment to love, partnership, compassion and understanding on a really deep soul level.  It has an energetic feel that brings a new energy of love into my house.  I just love it!!

 AMADEUS~ pet, companion and soulmate.

I didn't know how much wisdom a rooster could have until I met Amadeus.  Diane has captured not only his likeness in her painting but more importantly, his playful, loving spirit.  It's as if he is still here beside me.

Fire Spirit~   " What muse inspired this blaze of flames?

One can almost see the brush’s glowing strokes ignite this painting with the red fire of the inner spirit.  Not the passion of youth, surely, by the inward looking and wizened face, but the mature radiance of experience—the deeper joy of victory that has triumphed and will not be extinguished.  Calm, serene and knowing, this majestic creature smolders with life’s sacred fire:  the molten gash of lava flowing on his neck and the mane in full flight.  The broad and bright strokes are masterfully blended to bring this burning spirit’s brilliant inner light to life in the observer’s eye.  This work shines with color and exuberance—a testament to the power of beauty and the unquenchable spark of the Spirit."

Ancient Spirit ~

While searching the internet for equine artists, I was immediately drawn to the style of Diane Williams. Her colors were lively and brilliant and her style compelled me to call her directly.  It took only a few moments and I knew this artist is completely connected to the magnificent soul of the horse and to the spirit inside me.  The journey I took with Diane is one of the most pleasurable experiences I have ever had.  She shared the entire creative process with me via the internet, beginning with a photo, then a sketch and the many layers it took to bring my "Ancient Spirit" to life.

When the painting arrived I was truly taken back by its vibrant beauty and its healing energy. There is no doubt that part of Diane's gentle spirit is now in the heart of my home.  I was expecting a beautiful original painting but I ended up with much more.  Diane Williams is a wonderful lady and a talented artist who is now my Canadian friend.

In addition, she shipped the painting in the most professional manner imaginable.  Even my UPS driver made a comment about the construction of the crate and its integrity.  Nothing was overlooked.  I cannot say enough about Diane Williams.  She is a brilliant artist!

Soul Gazing

I have been thinking about how it has been said that a picture is worth a thousand words.  When I look at the painting that I purchased from Diane Williams it occurs to me that the beauty and the feelings that it evokes are too powerful to be contained by mere words.  Somehow, all that Diane transfers via paint onto canvas seems almost to sing a song.  The song is like some sort of personal anthem.  It sings a melody that I recognize and that goes straight to my heart.

I am grateful to have had the opportunity to meet Diane.  She is a passionate artist with an amazing gift and she is making the world ever so much more beautiful by sharing it.

Whether near or far away, I would not hesitate to encourage and to reassure anyone considering the purchase of a painting from Diane.  Diane is a pleasure to talk to and she takes great care in the safe transport of her work.  If you believe that you might appreciate an image on her website then you are certain to love it, in person. The small thumbnails that appear on the website do not portray the sheer beauty and powerful feelings in quite the same way that the paintings do in "real life."  I first saw the Soul Gazing thumbnail on the website and I almost overlooked it.  Yet, when I had the opportunity to see this painting "in person" it took my breath away.  The original had already found its home and I am now the happy owner of one of a limited Giclee collection.  Even my non horse loving husband has been captivated by this painting.

Thank you again, Diane.  I hope that the world continues to reward you as you continue to create and to share your gifts.  A also hope to have the opportunity to have more of your work grace the walls of my home in the future.

Soul Play - Sable Island Stallions

I need to think about how I feel about Soul Play as it is difficult to put into words  . . I know I was immediately drawn to it and couldn't get it out of my mind . . I believe it has something to do with the beauty of the horses, the power of the wind and an endless sea. .  . .  it's timeless  . it could be now or 3000 years ago . . it has a purity that I can't describe . .
